PE40 certification

THE PE40 (Supervised Diver at 40m) allows you to dive up to 40 meters, always under the supervision of a guide or instructor. This level is ideal if you want to explore deeper sites while remaining safe with professional support.
Prerequisite level: Level 1 + 5 fun dives
Minimum age: 14 years old

Training program

Number of training dives: 4 dives to enrich your skills and deepen your knowledge of deep diving.
Number of hours of theoretical training: 1 hour to understand the particularities of diving between 20 and 40m deep.
Final exam to validate your knowledge and check your understanding of safety rules.

Ability to acquire

1. Adapt your equipment to the practice of diving 40m.
2. Respect the descent procedure defined by the guide of a dive along a line.
3. Descend into open water following the dive guide.
4. Maintain a steady and constant speed during the descent.
5. Stabilize in open water without touching the bottom.

6. Identify potential personal difficulties and address them know.
7. Communicate and respond effectively to signs of diving.
8. Manage your ascent (speed and verticality) without the help of a line.
9. Perform a landing in different situations.
10. Assimilate the elements of theory:
- Risks and prevention in deep diving.
- Deep diving ascent procedures.
- Progress of the deep dive.

A medical certificate of no contraindication to the practice of scuba diving is mandatory to enter PE40 course
